I just wanted to thank you so much for your help over July. As if we don't have enough to cope with, this year we are faced with changing our regulator. Just to make the initial submission was a herculean task and involved far more detailed financial statements than have been asked of us before. 

Since we are recent converts to Xero, thanks in large part to you, it was sensible that we would be relying on you to ensure that the numbers we submitted were as accurate as possible. With a deadline of July 31St this process dominated the entire month Throughout it all Annja was always available, always calm and willing to answer queries. The speed with which she managed to deliver the analysis and forecasts we asked for was impressive and very reassuring for both Julie (my business partner) and I. That sort of professionalism leads to real trust between a client and their accountant. 

Annja was, in short, an absolute hero despite the fact that this month also coincided with her being on a family holiday in France!

Dear Annja,

It’s been a year at least since we appointed Anlo as our accountant, having decided to go with Xero as our preferred accounts software.  It has been an interesting year!  Last year we had to change regulatory body, something that required your input and help, as we were making the transition to Xero completing our year and complying with our regulatory requirements all at the same time. If I remember correctly, you were helping even though you were on holiday for a critical part of that period.  

Xero has been a bit of a revelation. We may have occasionally sworn at it, but at every step, you have been able to help us better understand it and how it can help our business. Now it feels like an indispensable tool.  We have just completed our year end followed immediately by renewing our regulatory requirements.  The latter has required a lot of input from you and frankly we’re not sure how we would have managed were it not for you and the reports we can generate from Xero!

The decision to move over to an accountancy software such as Xero became a necessity as HMRC required that all businesses had to make tax digital.  At the time it seemed like just another burden, but the outcome has actually been rather different.  We have never been so well informed as to the financial state of Employease and it has become second nature to put all of our invoicing and payments through it.  Even the difficulties that have beset all of us over the past several months have been slightly easier as we always knew where we stood.After a year or so of your constant help and encouragement it’s difficult to remember what managing our finances used to be like. 

This is therefore a longwinded way of saying a great big “thank you” for all of your efforts over the past year and to recommend you to anyone who wants to fully understand how their finances are operating and how to derive the greatest benefit from that knowledge.  Keep doing what you do!
