A day in the life of... Annja

I start my morning by making a ‘to-do list’ of things I absolutely must get to that day. I reward myself by getting the easy tasks off my list as soon as possible. I know it is silly but the longer the list is, the harder it is to look at 😊

I then make sure I prioritise my to-do list and notify clients when work will be completed and if I can’t get to a specific task as soon as possible, I will be clear and make sure I deliver on promises we have made. I also go through my notebook with the previous day’s notes in and make sure my list is comprehensive with all tasks up to date.

The most important thing I am responsible for is company strategy and marketing, and I think of ways the team, Anlo and myself can be useful and helpful to our clients. Our values are to be helpful, ethical and nurturing and this is something I consider and keep in the back of my mind with everything I do.

If the girls have any questions regarding a client’s situation or a piece of work, I try and attend to that first before I continue with the items on my list.

I love my job. I get satisfaction in seeing how the team succeeds and in making clients happy. My day is complete if I have moved forward in getting things ticked off. And my day is not complete without a long lovely chat over the phone with my business partner, Esmerelda.
